ARTIST STATEMENT
The calling within each drawing offers a haven for articulation, using a valuable medium to connect with and understand the female experience. Through self-reflection and intuition as a woman, I contemplate on the numerous societal and political differences women experience within their lives: from mental health, confidence, motherhood, gender equality–things every woman experiences but confines themselves to silence.
My artwork is an outlet to express deep emotions and is a critical aspect of who I am. I wish to stimulate the imagination through self-reflection, inviting others to question social norms while discovering a deeper source within to initiate positive change in society through liberation.
