On Campus Animation Projects
In 2017 and 2018 after spending my summer making the animation video, I was inspired to continue and further develop my video-making skills. Whenever we were assigned projects for school, I was always drawn to making videos. At the time, I lacked the resources for professional videography or film making, so I decided to use my personal whiteboard at home and time-lapse myself drawing each scene to tell a personal story or draw attention to a particular issue.
One in Thirty: The Story of Henry Oster
Co-directed a personal testimony and animation that bring alive a Holocaust survivor’s story, one of thirty German-born boys under the age of 18 to survive a concentration camp. Based on the true story of Henry Oster. The film is based on the true story of Henry Oster whom I interviewed, got to work with, and deeply connected to over the course of three months. I was not only able to gain the honor of getting to really know a strong survivor of one of the most brutal dictatorships in history, but also this was the beginning of my passion for digital animation video making.
After learning about the Holocaust at Westridge in 7th grade, I was inspired to find ways in which I could help voice the heartwrenching stories of the survivors. In 2017, I participated in a program where I was a co-director of a film One in Thirty: The Story of Henry Oster (description of film w/link below), which inspired me to continue my journey in activism through my love for art.

Powerful, gripping - elegant treatment of a horrific but true story - very affecting - like the design choices for music and graphics - all around excellent - proves that simplicity is gold.

Really compelling stop motion imagery and worthy story. Felt very professional and flawlessly executed in terms of the visuals.

Hauntingly beautiful.
WEST CALIFORNIA ACADEMY OF ART & DESIGN
SUMMER OF 2018
I SPENT MY ENTIRE SUMMER LEARNING ABOUT DIGITAL ART AND DESIGN AND BUILDING A PORTFOLIO WITH MY ARTWORK. IT WAS AN INTENSIVE SUMMER PROGRAM, BUT I LEARNED SO MUCH FROM MY EXPERIENCE THERE. I BUILT EVERYTHING FROM PRODUCT DESIGN, BRANDING, PHOTOSHOP, VIDEO ANIMATION, WEBSITE DESIGN, TO EVEN COMMERCIAL ART. I REALLY ENJOYED EVERY SECOND I WAS IN THE CLASS BECAUSE I USED IT AS AN OUTLET TO ALLOW MYSELF TO BE BE CREATIVE.

Inspired During the Pandemic
In 2020, when the pandemic began I started to feel inspired to find new ways in which I can help our community with feelings of hopelessness. With more time on my hands and with the gloom and despair during the height of the pandemic, I decided to bring out my animation video making skills again to bring some optimism. I did some research about how to make professional animation videos and used a software to create an award-winning video that reveals a path out of tragedy into a bright future.

Invited to be special guest speaker for the topic “Heart visitors: The Transmission of Love” to talk about her philanthropic work
I've continued to create animation videos for my nonprofit organization and my school projects. I love using my artistic skill to contribute to the greater good and further educate or bring awareness to problems in our society.
